Further expanding the wide range of software supported by AutoSave, MDT
offers an AutoSave module to schedule and revision
PC disk images in conjunction with the Acronis®
Backup & Recovery Workstation, disk-based backup and disaster recovery for Windows workstations.
This module provides AutoSave customers with the ability to create/schedule and manage revisions of
disk images created using Acronis, through AutoSave.
Acronis® Backup & Recovery Technology
Acronis Backup & Recovery takes a ‘snapshot’ of the disk using Acronis’ patented disk imaging technologies, minimizing impact on end users and eliminating the need to take workstations or laptops offline. Once
acquired, the image containing the operating system, applications and data can be fully recovered in minutes, instead of hours or days.
Users may also recover just an individual file or folder accidently deleted or lost.

AutoSave PC Version Control Solution
AutoSave provides on-demand creation and storage of customizable PC data. Each data set is stored as a unique revision with prior revisions maintained as ancestors. Users can define how many revisions are stored in the AutoSave system.
In providing this common central repository of disk images, MDT AutoSave can ensure that if a PC fails, the master image and other archived revisions of the hard drive data are available for on-demand rapid recovery.
